If you have a breast lump, it doesn't mean you have cancer. 9 out of 10 breast lumps are not caused by cancer and will prove to be benign. Although breast problems can sometimes be painful, they can usually be treated easily and rapidly. So I have 5 simple steps for you to be breast aware because nobody knows your breast as you do, so you're the best person to notice any changes to them.
1. Know what is normal for you.
2. Know what changes to look and feel for.
3. Look and feel every month before your period.
4. Report any changes to your Dr. straightaway.
5. Attend routine breast screening if you're aged 50 or over.
