Sit and Stand Up Straight

Slouchers and bloggers, beware! I read this article from a magazine that a study by the University of Leeds here in UK has found that bad posture causes blood pressure to rise. The neck sends signals to the brain, which helps maintain our blood pressure, heart rate and breathing; a stiff neck can cause these signals stop, raising blood pressure, which in turn doubles the threat of heart disease or a stroke. However, scientists believe a regular neck massage can counteract the dangers. It may feel like an indulgence, but it could be a life-saver.

Thanks for the reminder. I'm actually feeling those symptoms from being in front of the PC everyday. :)
